Grown in the misty highlands of Yirgacheffe — the birthplace of Arabica coffee. This lot is sourced from small-holder farmers across the Kochere and Konga woredas, where coffee has been a way of life for generations. The beans are washed at collection stations along the River Gidabo, then dried on raised beds under the highland sun.
"In the Yirgacheffe region, coffee isn just a crop — it a ceremony. Farmers hand-pick red cherries at peak ripeness, often walking long distances up steep slopes to reach the best trees. The region geographic complexity, its volcanic soil, its altitude between 1,700 and 2,200 meters, creates beans with a clarity and complexity that s hard to replicate anywhere else on earth. Expect bright florals, a deep sweetness, and a finish that lingers like a warm afternoon."
